Magic When I Touch You
This next song is a quick demo from Earlier this year. Today I held my two week old grandson; I was thinking about this moment when I wrote this song and I think that I definitely got it right.
Comforter
"Comforter" is one of my favorites. This is a non-published studio recording done with Rev Mike Jones on guitars, Gary Hicks on fretless bass, Ward Wilson on drums, Stephen Bigger on piano, and me on vocals. I wrote the song in early 1992 and the recording was made shortly thereafter.

This demo still needs a bit of work and I've been toying with the idea of a rewrite--here it is in its original form. I wrote the song in 1988 and this recording was made in late 1992.
I've Got No Time
I sang this to Annisa for our
engagement. Performed a capella, this has a nasty buzz in the background because the recording was done with my laptop microphone...need to do a decent recording and a big band arrangement for this one.
There's More to this Love
This one is coming soon. I wrote this for Annisa and surprised her with it at the wedding--I managed to keep it a complete secret until just two days before the wedding when I made a detour to briefly rehearse with my friend, Lucio, who accompanied me on classical guitar but this calls for a big band arrangement too...the only recording I have at present is on the wedding video...with my nerves, I ended up writing some of the lyrics on the fly.
